City Treasures and Jungle Gems – Full Day Tour
Duration: ~7 hours
Overview:
Roseau, Dominica’s capital, is a city where history and culture intertwine, first named Sari by the Kalinago people and later called Roseau (Ro-zo) by the French after the reeds at the river’s mouth. A walk or tram ride through its streets reveals the legacy of colonial masters, the contributions of distinguished Dominican citizens, and the charm of its Caribbean architectural styles, from ornate wooden houses to stately stone landmarks. More than its visible beauty, Roseau holds hidden stories and secrets, making every step a discovery of resilience, heritage, and pride.
