The best hand takes it all. This is one of the island’s biggest marine events, and this year the stakes have never been higher. Summer, the Nature Island way.
Date: Sunday, July 26, 2026
Start: Le Village Beach Club, Rock-a-way Beach, Canefield
Finish: The Almond Deck, Toucarie Village (Poker City)
Format: Boat-based poker run with five card-draw stops and an offshore raft-up party
HOW POKER RUN WORKS
It’s simple, and it’s a whole lot of fun. Teams set off by boat from the start line and travel the coast, stopping at designated locations to draw a playing card at each one. By the end of the run, every team has a five-card poker hand. The best hand wins the grand prize. Along the way you’ll cruise some of the most beautiful stretches of Dominica’s coastline, link up with other crews, and party offshore at the ultimate raft-up. It’s part race, part card game, part floating celebration of everything we love about summer on the water.
