Arriving by Sea

Dominica is served by two main ferry ports: the Roseau Ferry Terminal and the Portsmouth Ferry Dock.
Most visitors arriving by sea will dock at the Roseau Ferry Terminal, the island’s primary port for passenger ferries. Located in the heart of the capital city, Roseau, this terminal offers convenient access to accommodations, restaurants, and cultural sites. The Portsmouth Ferry Dock, situated on the northern coast, provides an alternative entry point and is ideal for travelers heading to the island’s northern attractions.
Whether you’re arriving from nearby islands or embarking on an inter-island adventure, Dominica’s ferry terminals offer a scenic and efficient gateway to the Nature Isle.
